Reload

Bring the text you're writing on the PC back to the phone, edit it, and keep typing.

Started a message on the PC and want to finish it on the phone? Reload copies the PC’s text box into the phone’s typing field.

Use it

  1. On the PC, click in the text box you’re writing in.
  2. On the phone, open Keyboard and tap Reload (the circular arrow next to the typing field).
  3. The text appears in the field, with the cursor at the end. Keep typing, or delete; changes go to the PC as you make them.

How it works

Reload needs both connections:

  1. Over Wi-Fi, PcPad for Windows saves whatever is on the PC’s clipboard.
  2. Over Bluetooth, the phone presses Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C on the PC.
  3. PcPad for Windows sends the copied text to the phone, then puts your clipboard back exactly as it was, formatting and images included.
  4. The phone presses → so the text isn’t left selected.

If nothing gets copied, for example because no text box was selected, the phone says so and nothing changes on the PC.

The phone’s field shows the last 300 characters of long text. Reload can be turned off with Send text for Reload in Settings.
