Privacy policy
Last updated 19 October 2026
PcPad turns your phone into a keyboard and touchpad for your PC. It's made by Haven. This policy covers the PcPad app for Android, PcPad for Windows and this website.
We don't collect your data
PcPad has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Nothing you type, send or see in PcPad is sent to us or to anyone else.
What goes to your PC
When you use PcPad, your phone sends keystrokes, touchpad movement, text you type and files you choose straight to your own PC, over Bluetooth or your local Wi-Fi network. With PcPad for Windows, your PC can send its screen picture and text back to your phone.
This stays between your phone and your PC. Wi-Fi connections are encrypted, and only PCs you've paired with a code can connect. See Security and privacy for how that works.
What stays on your phone
Your settings, your custom shortcuts and the list of PCs you've paired with. They aren't backed up to the cloud. Forget a PC to remove it, or uninstall PcPad to delete everything.
Permissions
| Permission | Why PcPad asks for it |
|---|---|
| Nearby devices (Bluetooth) | To connect to your PC as a keyboard and touchpad. |
| Location (Android 11 and older only) | Android needs it there to find Bluetooth devices. PcPad doesn't use your location. |
| Camera | Only to scan the pairing code shown on your PC. Pictures aren't saved or sent anywhere. |
| Notifications | To show that PcPad is connected, with a button to disconnect. |
| Network | To find and connect to PcPad for Windows on your Wi-Fi. |
Updates
The Android app asks Google Play whether a newer version is available. Google's privacy policy covers that check.
This website
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. Its font is loaded from Google Fonts. If you write to us, we use your name, email, phone number and message only to reply to you.
Children
PcPad isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
